Harbour foreshore area required a lighting upgrade prior to the Olympic games. Specific pedestrian levels targeted to achieve the current AS standards. Smartpole System chosen due to flexible design and ease of maintenance.
All poles feature illuminated banners that bring the park out of the dark and into the public arena.
The ibanner is an illuminated banner that was custom designed for use as a presentation tool for community events and cultural information.

Barcelona Mayor visits Australia during Olympic period and is impressed with Sydney CBD works. Presentation results in a purchase of a full suite of Smartpoles for 600m of Spain’s landmark thoroughfare.
Delivery includes the Smartpole VMS, supplied, installed and commissioned by Streetscape Projects directly integrated onto council and traffic networks.

The Games Memories Project was a multi media commemoration to all of the volunteers who took part in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. It consisted of over 500 unique poles, multimedia booths, information kiosks and artistic and sculptural interpretations. Streetscape Projects management and design experience were showcased with the successful delivery of this one of a kind project. |

The Hurstville RSL commissioned a new flagpole and light feature to commemorate their fallen. Smartpole was chosen as the pole due to its self-cleaning properties and long life materials. The final design featured a new assembly of a 4-way light outreach and flag assembly that has since become a standard accessory. |

Streetscape Projects took part in the restoration of Taylor Square. A highlight feature was the custom designed studded cladding on the Smartpoles; this design was carried through to the wheelie bin enclosure. This project also saw the birth of the Hybrid Smartpole with an 8m traffic outreach arm.
